In the design and production stages, Advantech follows the "three-Rs" of reduce, reuse and recycle in its management methodology.

These efforts have now been recognised by Sony, and Advantech's Hsien-Tien EPC factory has been certified as compliant with Sony's Green Partner Programme.

Sony set up the "Sony Environmental Vision" scheme to form the basis for proactive actions to conserve the environment and create a sustainable society.

Sony not only closely monitors and manages chemical substances used in its products, but also designates suppliers that co-operate in the production of environmentally safe products as Green Partners.

Suppliers must follow Sony's detailed flowchart and requirements before being certified as a Green Partner - a process that must be renewed every two years.

Advantech describes itself as proud to be Sony's Green Partner and says it will continue to provide environmentally friendly products that help improve people's lives.

Any partner who shares the same vision is welcome to contact Advantech for any co-operative initiatives, to join with Advantech's environmental conservation commitment. Request free introductory details about products from Advantech (UK) ...
