UltraSource, a supplier of custom thin film devices, has acquired the custom thin film circuit manufacturing unit from MicroMetrics, a semiconductor device manufacturer based in Londonderry, NH.
Under this agreement, Mentor Graphics will add optimised support for Achronix multigigahertz FPGA devices to Precision Synthesis.
Also under the terms of this agreement, Achronix will integrate and offer a complete design suite that includes Precision Synthesis.
The initial version of the design suite will be available to end users in 2007.
