Achronix Semiconductor and Mentor Graphics collaborate to provide a comprehensive FPGA design environment for Achronix' high performance FPGAs.

Achronix Semiconductor Corporation has signed a long term technology partnership and OEM agreement with Mentor Graphics Corporation The agreement ensures close collaboration between the two companies to provide a comprehensive FPGA design environment, enabling developers to take full advantage of Achronix' high performance FPGAs

Under this agreement, Mentor Graphics will add optimised support for Achronix multigigahertz FPGA devices to Precision Synthesis.

Also under the terms of this agreement, Achronix will integrate and offer a complete design suite that includes Precision Synthesis.

The initial version of the design suite will be available to end users in 2007.
