The VPM (or versatile piezo module) is a patented piezo module that can be mechanically attached to any given housing.

According to its originator, Baran Advanced Technologies, the VPM make common piezo technology look outdated.

It can be inserted into a switch or any HMI housing during an industrial process.

With a 50 million life cycle operation, the Everswitch requires no servicing.

Unlike conventional switches, Everswitch piezo switches and HMIs have a one-piece construction, have no moving parts, and so offer the advantage that even in high traffic areas, there is no risk of malfunction due to parts wearing out.

The Everswitch is IP68 rated and is completely sealed by design.

The switch electronics are encapsulated inside the housing.

No air exists inside the Everswitch switch housing, and so nothing can penetrate it.

To complete the sealing process, the Everswitch switch is supplied with an O-ring.

The VPM allows the Everswitch switch and HMI housings to be more rugged then any other piezo switch, A 1mm surface thickness provides protection against vandalism and accidental impact.

Options of aluminium, stainless steel or plastic housings in any diameter and a variety of threads create perfect match for any equipment and machinery that requires the features of the Everswitch.

Everswitch technology will soon be available to OEMs for self assembly.
