Using existing CAD/CAM software and similar machinery to that used for its plastic boxes, the company can now machine aluminium die cast boxes.

For anyone used to trying to have holes machined into metal, when the part is an irregular shape and difficult to hold, Custom Design Technologies' new service may well prove to be a better solution than sending boxes out to a local metal machinist.

By harnessing the company's years of experience within the electronics enclosure market, and the ability to send and receive files from designers, holes can be machined in with both accuracy and speed.
