Places are still available for the British Electrostatic Control Association's (BECA) one-day seminar on 18th June 2002 at Marwell Hotel, near Winchester, Hants.

It will cover practical aspects of ESD and in particular compliance with the 61340-5-1 standard.

The seminar will provide an opportunity for those experienced in this field to update their knowledge of ESD prevention using the latest standards and will help newcomers to the subject to gain an understanding of ESD prevention practice.

The presenters, who are industry experts in the field of ESD, will use practical demonstrations to clarify and emphasise key technical points.

Why ESD prevention is needed, compliance assessment using the BECA tools, practical demonstrations of EPA compliance tests, estimating the cost of ESD, and the return on investment in control and prevention techniques, will be among the topics covered.

A panel discussion session will provide a forum for delegates to discuss ESD protection issues with the industry experts.

The one-day seminar costs GBP 145 (+VAT) per delegate (to include lunch and refreshments), with discounts for group bookings.
