Belden sees its broadcast, A/V enclosures and racks as a logical extension to its popular line of IT networking enclosures.

Belden enclosures are engineered for maximum flexibility in configuring systems that meet unique application requirements while facilitating cable installation and management.

Belden enclosures and racks are well suited to support infrastructures for structured cabling systems; copper or optical fibre cable and connectivity systems (including patch cords, harnesses and cable assemblies); and wireless LAN systems.

In selecting Belden's high-quality, enclosure and rack solutions, users can be assured that all components will work together and perform flawlessly and with utmost reliability.

To assist users in configuring and ordering a system to fit their sise, space and component storage requirements, Belden offers a simplified ordering matrix as well as personalised service and support.

The new range include the Belden XSF and XMF Series for broadcast applications, and the Belden XME and XMER Series for broadcast, audio/video, security and wireless telecomms applications.

Key design criteria include uncompromisingly strong and well-built structures - along with component features that have been designed specifically to optimise the performance of the cable and to give the user uncommon flexibility in cable management.

All cabinets and rack frames within these four configurations feature: welded steel frame construction for maximum strength and support; Belden's own quick mount system for flexible, fast and easy cable routing; and a selection of sises and options to meet diverse space requirements for height and depth, with units suitable for stand-alone or ganged configurations.

The enclosures are complemented by a wide selection of components, including reversible doors, riser bases, side and top panels, spacing panels, EIA rail kits, drawers and front-mount work surfaces among others.

And there is a full complement of accessories for outfitting enclosures and racks - including shelving, mounting devices, cable tie mounts and other cable management support options.

There are options of perforated, solid glass and vented doors, and a variety of top panel options to provide passive convective cooling, together with a complete offering of power distribution units to accommodate specific project requirements.
