Supply stands up to telecomms surge
tests
Standard 15W encapsulated AC/DC convertor passes high-voltage lightning surge tests as defined by the GR-1089 Standard.
Bear Power Supplies has tested its standard 15W encapsulated AC/DC convertor and found it to pass the high-voltage lightning surge tests as defined by the GR-1089 Standard for Telecom Equipment, Section 4.7: "Lightning criteria for equipment interfacing with AC power port" This test requires that the power supply continue operating during and after application of several 2000V surges on the AC power port, and survive a 6000V surge without becoming a safety hazard
