Sixth wire makes all the difference to
touchscreen
BF has expanded its portfolio of LCD accessories with the eTurbotouch range of six-wire Turbo T6 touchscreens.
BF has expanded its portfolio of LCD accessories with the eTurbotouch range of six-wire Turbo T6 touch screens These new touch screens and controllers are for use with LCDs in consumer, office automation, industrial, medical, POS and kiosk applications
The eTurbotouch second-generation six-wire Turbo T6 touch screens provide 10 times higher reliability than the first-generation four-wire technology.
The sixth wire acts as an EMI shield to reduce emissions and enhances the stability and accuracy of the product compared with competitive five-wire technology.
Keith Thompson, Director of BF displays division says, "We're delighted to offer this new touch-screen technology manufactured at a state of the art factory in Taiwan.
It offers a technical and cost performance that we have not been previously able to offer".
