High transmission speed for touchscreens
BF has launched a range of new touch screens and controllers for use with LCD in consumer, office automation, industrial, medical, POS and kiosk applications.
Explains Rhett Evans, who heads up BF AV: "We found that many of our customers who were interested in high end displays - the latest TFT technology, for example - also has a requirement for the computer to drive the display, plus other associated hardware.
We have put together a package of products from leading manufacturers so that we can offer fully integrated audio-visual capability.
One of the most innovative products in the BF AV portfolio is a range of interactive white boards from Blackburn-based manufacturer, TDS.
Once an image is projected onto the screen, the display becomes 'live' so you can demonstrate Internet services and other touch-activated functions on a large screen.
BF AV can also base systems around plasma, LCD and LED display technologies from a number of high quality, yet cost-conscious suppliers.
The company has also tied up a deal with a producer of PC and keyboard products to complete the package.
Explains BF director, Steve Mitchell: "At BF AV, we aim to deliver the right audio visual systems solution.
We appreciate that people working in the retail, hotel and hospitality, and other industries simply do not have the time to evaluate all the different audiovisual systems from many different individual sources, all of which are trying to sell only one or two technologies.
So customers may end up with a less than optimal solution for their particular situation.
At BF AV, we have put together a range of technologies which we can bring to your location in our Vision Van, so that you can see for yourself which combination of products is best for you".
