The Motorola G18 module incorporates triband GSM (900, 1800 and 1900MHz) and GPRS.

Designed for use in the voice, data and telematics industries, this wireless module has revolutionised connectivity with its increased data throughput for improved performance for the telemetry, EPOS, automotive GSM and terminals markets.

The G18 triband module is available in three configurations to provide flexibility in meeting customer's needs including a slim line version with GPS in a DIN horizontal package or PCMCIA type III enclosure.

With advanced mobile phone data features including Internet access, browsing email and access to information services, the module can be incorporated into specific applications and used to control utility meter reading, streetlight control, and vehicle tracking.

A standard GSM developer's kit is also available to help designers successfully integrate G18 wireless modems into their host platform.
