A new development kit for the Motorola g20 GSM/GPRS module platform includes capabilities for a wide range of mobile communications applications.

A new development kit for the Motorola g20 GSM/GPRS module platform includes capabilities for a wide range of mobile communications applications.

The kit offers systems integrators all the tools necessary to develop, integrate and test wireless connectivity products.

The g20 data module sits at the heart of the development platform, within the ruggedised chassis and cover.

Mounted on the development board the module is integrated with the built-in keypad, display and SIM tray, together with the test SIM card.

Fitted with a power adapter and offering a variety of external communications ports including USB and RS232 interfaces and an antenna stub, for onboard use, together with a MMCX connector.

The Motorola g20 is available through BFi Optilas now and provides the simplest route to developing GSM applications.
