A new series of diode arrays features 4 to 14 pin counts, in single inline packages for space saving on printed circuit boards.

Providing design engineers with a RoHS-compliant, conformal-coated, space saving signal diode network, TT electronics BI Technologies has released its D Series signal diode arrays The diode array series features 4 to 14 pin counts, in single inline packages (SIPs) for space saving on printed circuit boards

According to Mike Torres, Product Manager for BI Technologies Electronic Components Division, the company has seen increased demand for a RoHS-compliant version of the popular diode arrays.

"The D Series is available in multiple configurations and five different circuit types, including bussed, isolated and series configurations", Torres said.

"The variety of circuit configurations, along with the space saving SIP package, make these arrays ideal for circuits on densely packed PC boards that require ESD protection, over voltage protection, and line termination protection".

"Given the particular popularity of applications, it is no surprise that our distributor partners have seen a great deal of activity with this product".

The D Series diode arrays have a reverse voltage of 80V, a forward current of 100mA, reverse recovery time is 4ns and the package power rating is 200mW.

Common anode and common cathode networks are also available.

Typical pricing for the single diode arrays starts at $0.35 to $0.40, with lead times from stock to 7 weeks.

Samples are available immediately.

Custom arrays are available on request.
