Harvey Tait, a leading UK 400m runner, has joined contract electronics manufacturer BI Electronics as Sales and Marketing Manager.

Harvey Tait, a leading UK 400m runner, has joined contract electronics manufacturer BI Electronics as Sales and Marketing Manager.

He was previously European Sales and Marketing Manager of Kyocera Fine Ceramics, where he was head of department for four UK divisions and the fibre optics department for Europe.

Prior to Kyocera, Tait was an Account Manager with the Components Division of TDK Electronics from 1997 to 2000, transforming an uneconomical account base from loss making to a profitable GBP 100 million department.

He also ran the IT department for six months alongside his normal position.

Before that, he was a Technical Sales Engineer with electronics components distributor TTI and Internal Sales Engineer with distributor ICC Micromark.

He holds an HND in electrical/lectronics engineering and a London University IEEE degree in electrical engineering.

Tait runs for the Windsor, Slough and Eton Athletics club, coaches athletes at all levels, plays rugby for London Japanese, plays golf, goes bike riding, walking and swimming and enjoys travelling the world, reading, arts and crafts.
