The SS Series is sea water protected and typically used for the structural monitoring of ship deck boards, but also widely used for strain measurement and positional measurement of many types of structures on the sea bed.

It is also used for strain measurement and positional measurement of structures on the sea-bed, including sub-sea structures such as restraining pipes and bridges.

The SS series transducers are made from 316 stainless steel.

A through-bore ensures there are no cavities for marine growth and other organisms to impede the movement of the transducer.

The SS transducers can withstand prolonged exposure to corrosive marine applications.
