Three-, four- and five-pole M12 connectors with screw termination can now be connected with large diameter wires with cross sections of up to 0.75mm2.

Binder's 713, 715, and 825 series three-, four- and five-pole M12 connectors with screw termination can now be connected with large diameter wires having a cross section of up to 0.75mm2 (around 18 AWG) with or without ferrule

For screw terminations, ferrules are used to prevent the breakage of wire strands.

This increases the diameter of each conductor.

To assure easy and simple mounting with or without a ferrule, Binder's contact carriers have been modified, accepting larger conductors, while new head screws securely hold each conductor in place.

Thorough testing has proven that wire sizes from 0.14mm2 without ferrule to 0.75mm2 with ferrule can be terminated with no problem.

These improvements have already been realised within Binder's own production processes and with no price increase to customers.
