Until now, moulded M12 connector housings had a ribbed cable strain relief.

Binder's new design features a smooth contoured housing ideal for food processing applications and industrial applications alike.

The new overmould design ensures improved strain relief characteristics while a modular mould tool design allows quick and easy mould changes resulting in increased manufacturing flexibility and efficiency.

The new overmould design supports cable diameters up to 6mm allowing room for future expansion including the offering of Ethernet and other bus cables.
