Stainless-steel housing provides a reliable and rugged interface ideal for use in harsh environment applications.

Binder-USA has added a new stainless-steel version to its 713 series of M12 field attachable connectors.

The stainless-steel housing provides a reliable and rugged interface ideal for use in harsh environment applications, food processing equipment and any application requiring a robust, industry standard connection.

All metal components in the new design are machined from stainless steel.

Outer surfaces of the connector are smooth making it easy to wipe clean - an advantage for food processing applications.

The connector features a protection rating of IP67 and IP69K testing is currently being performed.

The stainless steel version of the 713 series is available with four or five contacts and will accept a cable with an outer diameter of 6 to 8mm.

A screw termination is standard and other termination styles are available.

M12 moulded cordsets with stainless-steel lock nuts are also available in Binder's 763 series product line.
