Kylia, a supplier of high performance optical components based on crystal on silica technology, has signed an agreement for Bizzen to develop its business and distribute its products in North America.

"With Bizzen, Kylia have now a tactical presence in North America which will enable us to penetrate the Fortune 500 and the SME in North America", said Frederic Verluise, CEO of Kylia.

"The company's experience in delivering the high quality optical components, combined with its reputation in delivering outstanding customers support, makes Bizzen a valuable partner for Kylia, especially for offering high performance components such as the MICS DWDM multiplexers and demultipexers".

"I am very exited to offer Kylia's optical components which are independent of temperature and external mechanical constraints", said Jerome Prieur founder and CEO of Bizzen.

"Kylia's technology is very attractive when high stability, reliability and low insertion losses are required".

Kylia will reveal new optical components at OFC/NFOEC in March 2005 on Booth 1354.
