TTi will use its upcoming seminar to show how the Xantrex Elgar EACS can help to save time and improve reporting in avionics electrical testing.

Thurlby Thandar Instruments (TTi), the UK distributor for Xantrex Elgar, is holding a seminar on avionics electrical test standards at the Duxford Imperial War Museum, Cambridgeshire, on the 11th October 2007.

The seminar will help engineers to understand the definition of the relevant avionic electrical test standards issued by Airbus and Boeing for avionics electrical component manufacturers, and how the Xantrex Elgar EACS (electrical avionics compliance system) system can help to save time and improve reporting while testing.

The seminar will be presented by Philippe Braule from MB Electronique in France, who has worked closely with many European and American manufacturers in interpreting the test methods required to meet the standards.

Places at this one-day event are open to any engineers presently working with or considering tendering for work involving compliance testing of electrical avionics components.

A contributory fee of GBP 35 is being charged towards the venue cost.

This will include full access to all of the exhibition hangars at Duxford including the new AirSpace exhibition.
