Wireless systems company makes senior
appointments
A company specialising in open wireless network, security and management systems, has appointed new Vice Presidents of Marketing and Worldwide Sales.
Bluesocket a specialist in open wireless network, security and management systems, has announced the addition of Mike Braatz to its management team as Vice President of Marketing The company has also named Ann Doyle as Vice President of Worldwide Sales

Braatz was most recently the Vice President of Marketing and Business Development for PanGo Networks, where he was instrumental in forming strategic alliances and partnerships, and directing global marketing and communications programmes.
While at PanGo - a supplier of enterprise asset-tracking systems - he focused on building and executing go-to-market strategies with a variety of market-leading wireless infrastructure companies, ISVs and distribution partners, resulting in significant customer acquisitions and market penetration.
Prior to PanGo Networks, Braatz was a cofounder and Vice President of Business Development at Optiant.
Before Optiant, Braatz was a consultant with Bain and company where he worked with companies in the wireless, software and manufacturing industries.
Drawing from these experiences, he will further strengthen Bluesocket's marketing and business development efforts.
"Bluesocket has a strong track record of delivering complete and secure mobility solutions to customers across a variety of markets".

Ann Doyle has been appointed to lead the company's worldwide sales operations.
Ann joined Bluesocket in July 2006 and has since played a critical role in building the company's channel and North American sales programmes.
With more than 25 years of experience in North American and international sales, this promotion recognises her ability to help Bluesocket penetrate new global markets, while growing existing relationships with international partners and customers.
