Oscillator promises superior noise performance

A Bliley Technologies product story
Edited by the Electronicstalk editorial team Feb 21, 2007

OCXO is ideally suited for phase-locked microwave signal sources including DROs, test equipment and microwave communication systems, as well as military and Doppler radar.

The latest offering from Bliley Technologies is a low-noise, 100MHz OCXO in low-profile packaging (13.5mm maximum).

The NV45G1480 OCXO, targeted specifically to applications demanding superior noise performance, is ideally suited for phase-locked microwave signal sources including DROs, test equipment, microwave communication systems (both point-to-point and point-to-multipoint), as well as military and Doppler radar.

"Bliley's NV45G1480 OCXO series offers numerous benefits including carefully matched crystals and oscillators achieving optimal performance for noise, packaging nearly 50% smaller than previous generations of similar products, low power consumption and tight stability, among others", said Greg Rogers, Vice President of Engineering at Bliley Technologies.

Product specifications for the NV45G1480 OCXO include: 100MHz operating frequency; phase noise (typical) -130dBc at 100Hz offset; stabilities as tight as +/-50ppb over temperature; high power output of 15dBm available; low power consumption (1W typical at 25C); and long-term aging at 20 years.
