Ovenised crystal oscillators on the surface

A Bliley Technologies product story
Edited by the Electronicstalk editorial team Aug 6, 2007

The NV45Q OCXO is surface mountable, whereas oscillators in this product category often require soldering via a separate manufacturing process.

New from Bliley Technologies is the NV45Q series of RoHS-compliant ovenised crystal oscillators (OCXOs).

Designed with an attractive combination of Stratum III stability performance, low jitter and low-profile packaging, the NV45Q OCXO is surface mountable, whereas oscillators in this product category often require soldering via a separate manufacturing process.

"Because of its ultralow jitter performance, Bliley's NV45Q OCXO is well suited for applications where data and voice transfer integrity is critical".

"The product is tailored for use in basestations, as well as for telecom infrastructure and network synchronisation applications", says Greg Rogers, Vice President of Engineering at Bliley Technologies.

An overview of product specifications includes: frequencies ranging from 10 to 32MHz; 3.3 and 5.0V supply options; typical phase noise of -145dBc at 100Hz offset; LVCMOS and HCMOS output options; low-profile packaging (7.9mm maximum); and operating temperature ranges as wide as -40 to +85C.
