BTI releases oven-controlled crystal oscillators

A Bliley Technologies product story
Edited by the Electronicstalk editorial team Sep 11, 2008

Bliley Technologies (BTI) has released a line of low phase noise, oven-controlled crystal oscillators (OCXOs), providing compact packaging and a frequency output of 30 to 130 MHz.

Suited for radar, communications and test-system applications, the range lets design engineers specify exact output frequencies and other variable specifications, allowing the NV26AJ OCXO oscillator to be customised for various applications.

All oscillators in the NV26AJ series operate at fundamental output frequencies in order to maintain superior phase noise performance.

Optimum performance of phase noise under vibration has also been promoted, or as Dennis Barrick, vice-president of marketing and business development at BTI, puts it: 'Since the effects of vibration can quickly degrade system performance, BTI focuses on the basic crystal design and circuit vibration isolation in order to maintain system integrity under extreme environments.' Special features of the NV26AJ OCXO series include high power output up to +15 dBm, low-profile packaging, excellent long-term ageing and low power consumption.
