Workshop gives complete picture on CE.NET 5.0
A UK-based workshop will give embedded software development engineers hands-on experience in running the new 5.0 release of Windows CE.NET on next generation processors.
A total of 13 papers will be given on some of the industry's most current topics including: "A BIST example: high-speed serial link verification": "A flexible cost-effective solution for deploying boundary-scan applications into production" and "A rule-based tool for automating the analysis of PCB boundary-scan DFT".
As with previous workshops, perspectives are invited from contract manufacturers, test equipment providers, researchers, end users and systems providers.
Dr Ben Bennetts, EBTW06 Programme Chair, comments: "The increasingly demanding test needs of single board and multi-board systems are constantly under review by test practitioners and tool vendors".
"The 2006 IEEE European Board Test Workshop offers a forum for an exchange of new ideas between these two communities".
Although technically a "European" event, many of the EBTW's speakers will be coming from much further afield, from countries including the USA, China and Japan.
Companies represented include: Intel, Cisco and Nokia.
Dr Bennetts concludes: "This workshop will see papers presented from the leaders in their fields - so why not come and interact with the experts".
Fees for the two-day workshop will vary depending on the delegate's IEEE membership status (member, student or nonmember), and discounts are available for early registration.
A faxback registration form can be downloaded from the Board Test Workshop website.
