It's logical to store and ship racks flat
Boss claims to have solved the age old problem of storing and shipping 19in racks by supplying them flat and making them very easy to assemble with no screws.
10in enclosures go up the wall in SOHO
Boss has introduced a flat-packed wall-mounted rack conforming to the new 10in standard and aimed specifically at network installers and integrators specialising in the SOHO environment.
The range is sold in a simple form - one part number buys a complete rack with a standard configuration of metal rear and side panels, a ventilated lid, and a smoked and toughened glass front door.
Two pairs of 19in attachments come as standard, and a full range of accessories is also available.
Boss sells the Eco range ready-assembled, unlike the existing Logic range, which is supplied flat.
The company's new assembly area can be put to use with product customisation, so special requirements for holes, power units or shelves can be fitted prior to shipment.
Sales Manager Simon Franks says: "This new range of 19in Eco racks enhances our range and stresses the fact that a cleverly designed and quality finished product does not need to command a high price".
The Eco is available in 18, 30 and 42U, in widths of 600 and 800mm, and depths of 600 and 900mm (42U x 600mm x 1000mm is available to order).
Designed in accordance with IEC60-297-2, DIN41494 parts 1 and 7, ANSI/EAI-310 and UNE20 539-2, these cabinets are suitable for networks, telecommunications, AV installations and industrial electronics systems.
