Optimised solutions for key Bluetooth applications
According to BrightCom, Bluetooth devices need to contain embedded stand-alone intelligence, along with software and additional processing power.
"Application Processors will soon change the way people think about Bluetooth", said Yuval Ben Ze'ev, President and CEO, BrightCom.
"We offer product design engineers working on Bluetooth devices a complete solution-on-chip, enabling wireless connection for a wide variety of home and office applications including print queuing, handwriting recognition, digital still transfer, voice communication and peripheral interaction".
BrightCom's highly integrated chip and software platform includes a high-level, developer-friendly API and adjustable performance characteristics, thereby reducing time to product and providing a reduced bill of materials for product and module manufacturers.
A programmable RF interface allows OEMs to use virtually any RF chip, selecting the best solution to meet their needs at that time.
