A novel hybrid monitor cable improves performance over legacy BBC PIF8/1 combined video/audio/power cable types.

A novel hybrid monitor cable improves performance over legacy BBC PIF8/1 combined video/audio/power cable types The new design incorporates a copper-braid-screened three-core 24/0.20mm, 6A power supply cable, an SDI quality stranded-conductor duo-screened 75ohm video cable and a copper-lap-screened, oxygen-free copper audio star quad in a single jacket

Ideal for use in TV and theatre or in touring systems, the cable can power remote monitors, transmit SDI or analogue video and handle audio talkback or microphone signals.

Each cable is individually screened for electrical safety and individually sheathed to allow the components to be broken out into their separate audio, video and power connectors.
