7-pole versions added to sealed connectors
Bulgin has extended its 900 series Buccaneer range of heavy duty IP68 sealed connectors to include a 7 pole version for all body styles.
This could be for a number of reasons: for ease of maintenance, assembly during production or to limit the potential for accidental cross connection by the end user.
With an otherwise black connector the coloured contact insert and matching cable gland nut give a quick and easy method of identification, whether the connectors are mated or unmated.
On a panel containing a number of similar connectors this can be invaluable.
The following colours are available: black, blue, green, grey, light grey, red, white and yellow.
The specification of the standard Buccaneer connector itself remains unchanged.
Dust and waterproof to IP68, with a choice of 2, 3, 4, 6, 7, 9 or 25 poles, the connectors are rated from 10A, 250V AC, to 1A, 50V AC.
Five body styles provide a wide choice of configurations, each available with either plug or socket contacts.
