PCB mounting accepts solder connectors

Available in 4, 6, 8, 10 and 12 way, Bulgin's smallest waterproof connector is available in a PCB mounting panel version and is ully dust and waterproof to IP68.

Bulgin's smallest waterproof connector, the 400 Series Buccaneer, has now been joined by a PCB mounting panel version Available in 4, 6, 8, 10 and 12 way the PCB connectors have gold plated contacts rated to 5A 125Vac/dc (4-8 way) and 1A 50Vac/dc (10 and 12 way) and are fully compatible with the 400 Series flex connectors

PC spill length is 3.5mm, designed for use in 1.6mm PCBs, and both pin and socket contact versions are available allowing safe power entry and exit from equipment.

This new PCB mounting version, PX0413, is rear panel mounted enabling the connector to be soldered directly to a PCB then offered up to the panel and secured using a single panel-fixing nut.

As with other 400 Series Buccaneers the body material is UL94V-0 rated and the connector family ratings of fully dust and waterproof to IP68 are maintained.

A new sealing cap is available which is secured behind the panel fixing nut to maintain the IP68 rating when the connectors are unmated.

These new additions to the range allows assembly cost reductions by cutting the need for expensive wiring and replacing it with a direct PCB connection making the connectors ideal for volume applications where production costs need to be minimised and system modularity is crucial.
