The TTC 2530 is a bench-mounted four-stage ultrasonic cleaning machine for printed circuit boards or electronic assemblies.
The Hybrid Tool is supplied with three interchangeable adapters that focus the energy to the size of component being reworked and a laser pointer ensures the user can see exactly where they are working.
The gentle hot air stream that assists the IR heaters will not displace small chip components during the rework process.
An integral vacuum pen is also supplied to aid component removal once the solder becomes liquid.
The 200W unit uses a revolutionary, patented design that incorporates safe IR heating along with regulated hot air to deliver a controlled temperature ramp up to 4C/s, which is in line with the IPC's recommendations for reworking.
It joins the already established IR550 and IR650 systems to complete Ersa's comprehensive stable of rework and inspection tools.
UK distributor Blundell Production Equipment is offering free trials and on-site demonstrations.
