An extensive range of industrial PC products has been added to the portfolio of embedded board manufacturer BVM The Southampton-based operation, which already designs and manufactures VMEbus, CompactPCI and PMC modules, has signed an agreement with Wincomm Corp of Taiwan adding the comprehensive range of boards and systems to its portfolio

This strategic alliance brings together the skills and stability of a UK based design and development team with the benefits of volume production, component availability and lower costs associated with Far East manufacturing.

"Customer support and quality products are key to our success and will remain paramount as the range expands", says Rod Clarke BVM's Managing Director.

"Our customers come first and with the extended product line and unbeatable prices we can now truly offer a solution for all applications".

Under this agreement BVM will offer the complete portfolio of Wincomm products which have not previously been available in the UK.

"The range includes over 20 board designs including Pentium 3, Pentium 4 PICMG and ISA SBC's", says David Smith, BVM's Technical Director.

"The latest offering, a fully integrated micro PC, uses the Via Eden integrated CPU and is the lowest power fully integrated system on the market".

BVM's in-house technical skill means that in addition to supporting the standard product lines, BVM can complement Wincomm's comprehensive OEM/ODM service producing custom designs for system manufacturers and integrators.

With both companies ISO9001 accredited a quality product with timely and controlled project implementation is assured.
