BVM has expanded its LV-670 range of Mini-ITX format modules.

BVM has expanded its LV-670 range of Mini-ITX format modules These all-in-one embedded industrial motherboards, based on the Pentium 4 CPU with speeds currently up to 3.06GHz and with the hyper-threading capabilities of the P4, push the performance of the Mini-ITX platform to a new level

The new LV-670M supports the Mobile P4 reducing power and cooling requirements.

It uses the Intel 845GV and ICH4 chipset and features Intel NetBurst micro-architecture with 400MHz FSB and up to 1Gbyte of DDR266/333 SDRAM.

Other features include Intel Extreme Graphics, 24bit dual channel LVDS, Intel Pro/100+ LAN, Hi-Speed USB 2.0, IEEE1394, 5.1-Channel and S/P DIF audio, TV-out and solid state Flash disk interfaces.

Versions of the Mobile P4 are available without cooling fans or for higher power versions custom heat-pipe solutions are available.

Other modules in the LV-670 family support P4 CPUs with up to 3.06GHz clocks and benefit from the hyper-threading capabilities of the latest processors.

To meet the demands of LCD-based industrial PC applications, both the LV-670M and the LV-670LVDS have integrated onboard LVDS transmitter and offer the 24bit dual channel LVDS interface for TFT LCDs with up to 1800 x 1200 resolution and 24bit colour.

This fits well with the requirement of industrial workstation, POS/POI, kiosk, ATM, panel PCs, GPS/car PCs, and other computing platforms with LVDS-based LCD flat panel displays.

BVM can supply a number of operating systems, ready to run, including CE.NET and XP Embedded, in addition to Linux and the desktop versions of Windows.

This wide choice of operating systems, the high performance of the P4 coupled with the low power requirements of the Mobile processor and the compact design of the Mini-ITX format (170 x 170mm) make the LV-670 family an ideal choice for many of today's exacting applications.
