Camden Electronics has launched a new range of surface mount fuses available in both time delay and quick blow variants Featuring UL and CSA approvals, the new CFSSMTF/T fuses are packaged in 6.2 x 2.6 x 2.6mm surface mount packages and can withstand infra-red reflow soldering temperatures up to 260C for 20s maximum (10s maximum for wave reflow soldering)

Quick blow types are available in 25 ratings from 62mA up to 15A while time delay versions are available in 20 ratings from 200mA up to 7A.

Interrupt ratings for quick blow types are 50A at 125V AC/DC or 300A at 125V DC for 62mA to 8A versions, 35A at 125V AC, 50A at 125V DC or 300A at 32V DC for 10A versions and 50A at 65V AC/DC or 300A at 24V DC for 12 and 15A types.

All time delay types feature interrupt ratings of 50A at 125V AC/DC or 300A at 125V DC.

Electrical characteristics for quick blow are 4 hours at 1ln minimum, 5s at 2ln max for 62mA to 10A types and 4 hours at 1ln minimum, 60s at 2ln maximum for 12 and 15A versions.

Time delay types from 200mA to 7A feature the following electrical characteristics: 4 hours at 1ln, 1s minimum, 60s maximum at 2ln, 0.2s minimum, 3s maximum at 3ln and 0.02s minimum, 0.1s maximum at 8ln.

Voltage ratings are 125V for 62mA to 10A quick blow, 65V for 12 and 15A quick blow and 125V for all time delay types.

Camden's new surface mount fuses complement the company's recently launched TO5 radial leaded round and square fuses as well as a wide range of cartridge fuses in both glass and ceramic types, microminiature axial and high voltage fuses and all types of fuseholders.
