Available now from Caltest is a compact dielectric analyser manufactured by US based Vitrek Corp The Vitrek 944i is a versatile product that combines AC dielectric strength testing (AC hipot) with DC dielectric strength testing (DC hipot), and insulation resistance to 65Gohm with earth continuity measurement, all from a single test connection

A new low-cost multipoint scanning hipot/safety analyser combines five functions in one instrument.
Features include automatic calibration, built in diagnostics, internal "watchdog" safety monitor, user memory for up to 100 test routines, arc detection and available interface package with IEEE488.2, RS232 and direct test results printout capability.
