Calibre will launch PremierView4, its latest range of LCD and plasma panel drivers at ECIF in September.

Calibre will launch PremierView4, its latest range of LCD and plasma panel drivers at ECIF in September Calibre reckons PremierView is the natural choice for integrators and OEMs requiring best in class LCD driver solutions

Calibre also manufactures CityView for use in applications where cost is of primary importance but a quality product is still required.

PremierView4 accepts computer VGA/RGB signals up to 1600 x 1200 resolution and PAL, NTSC and SECAM video for display on a wide range of LCD and plasma panels and offers best in class scaling and video performance.

PremierView4 includes many options not previously available on PremierView3.1 including DVI digital RGB input, D1 SDI digital component video input, image flip left/right and up/down, optional frame rate conversion for driving fixed frequency panels and plasmas and a new reduced board footprint.

Legacy Systems - a special legacy version of PremierView4 - is able to accept low-frequency interlaced and noninterlaced graphics standards from 15kHz upwards.

This provides an easy upgrade path for industrial customers from 1980s technology CRT displays to modern, crisp and stable LCDs.

PremierView4 and CityView are both available as board-level products, OEM monitor chassis or complete metal cased industrial monitors.

Calibre will be displaying several monitor styles and sizes as well as driver boards on Stand E60 at ECIF from 19th to 20th September 2001 at ExCel London.
