The use of a high performance video input front-end, including true component video support in both analogue and digital formats featuring outstanding motion-adaptive directionally correlated video de-interlacing and a best-in-class image scaling engine provides excellent video processing.

This combination of outstanding flexibility and image scaling together with the award winning Faroudja DCDi de-interlacer and Calibre-developed software, hardware and firmware allows PremierViewPro to provide a truly outstanding image quality and the highest possible level of system flexibility.

PremierViewPro is able to input CVBS or YC in Pal, NTSC or Secam formats, RGB or YUV at Pal or NTSC timings, SDI serial digital, VGA analogue in RGBHV, RGBS and RGsB formats from 640 x 350 to 1600 x 1200 and also DVI digital from 640 x 480 to 1280 x 1024.

Many output options are available including DVI, PanelLink, LVDS, 18, 24 or 30bit digital data and conventional VGA or RGB formats.

PremierViewPro can be easily programmed for different output signal resolutions and timings through a Windows control program that connects via a normal RS232 link.

In addition to input and output format configuration and normal image controls such as brightness, contrast, colour etc, flexible image sizing controls are provided as well as wide-ranging pan and zoom/shrink functions.

A truly massive level of image zoom is possible making PremierViewPro ideal for providing a high quality electronic image-zoom function in applications such as specialist medical displays.

Individual picture edges can also be moved or resized in a similar manner to a Windows application, an attribute that makes PremierViewPro ideal for driving tiled 'video-wall' style displays.

Display gamma factor is programmable over a wide range on an individual R, G, B colour basis to allow easy correction of gamma for full-colour LED screens while for experienced users output signal timings and formats are also fully programmable to suit the particular display device.

PremierViewPro is available as a ready to use, cased product or as an OEM boardset for equipment manufacturers to incorporate into their own systems.
