VTS Medical Displays Europe has a new 18.1in medical monitor claimed to set new standards in medical imaging for endoscopy procedures VividImage 18.1 is a high performance, surgical flat panel, medical grade monitor that is patient vicinity safe and surpasses the current flat panel medical display products available today

It is approved to UL Certification reference 2601-1 (UL60601-1) and European certification EN60601-1-2, CSA C22.2 No 601.1, ICES-001 Issue 3, CE, FDA Listed.

Its sleek, splashproof, fully enclosed design makes the VividImage 18.1 display ideal for many medical applications, especially those within the OR environment.

VividImage displays are multi standard supporting Pal, NTSC, Secam, 625i and 525i and true monochrome video formats.

This versatile display supports individual video inputs: composite, S-Video (Y/C), component (RGBS, RGB and YUV), SDI, RGBHV (analogue) and DVI.

It is capable of handling most brands and types of surgical imaging equipment and designed to handle the changing technology now being seen in this market such as SDI.

VividImage 18.1 has an unprecedented viewing angle of 170 degrees that enables data to be read more easily than contemporary monitors and also offers advanced LCD technology with high contrast, fast video response with no image lag and a double-coated antireflective filter.
