Single-chip Wi-Fi silicon stars at Olympia
This week CSR is demonstrating its first single-chip Wi-Fi silicon for consumer electronic devices, UniFi-1, at The Wireless LAN Event at London's Olympia.
The IQfact software is the only test solution available on the market today that enables single-pass testing of products with integrated Wi-Fi and Bluetooth v2.0+EDR technologies, saving substantial manufacturing costs over dual-pass testing.
The IQfact for CSR's UniFi software integrates seamlessly into existing LitePoint IQview and IQflex API, allowing simple turnkey testing of CSR UniFi-based devices - for both R and D and manufacturing applications.
IQview and IQflex software currently supports 802.11a/b/g and turbo mode Wi-Fi testing as well as the next generation MIMO products.
When the dual RF port testers are used with both IQfact for CSR and LitePoint Bluetooth software with CSR test programs, they save time for OEMs by allowing one-pass testing of CSR's Wi-Fi/Bluetooth v2.0+EDR integrated products.
LitePoint IQfact for CSR comes complete with Wi-Fi manufacturing test programs including setup, calibration and verification tests through an easy-to-use graphical user interface.
User access to test flow, limits and setup parameters is available with support for media access control (MAC) address assignment and data logging is also included.
