Revenues and profits almost double at
CSR
CSR has published its unaudited preliminary financial results for the fourth quarter and its audited financial results for the 52 weeks ended 30th December 2005.
CSR has published its unaudited preliminary financial results for the fourth quarter and its audited financial results for the 52 weeks ended 30th December 2005 During the year, CSR increased its sales by 92% year on year to $486.5 million ($253.1 million in 2004)
Q4 2005 revenue increased 104% to $162.9 million.
"We are pleased to announce very strong results with revenues and profits almost doubling, operating margin held virtually stable and record sales in the fourth quarter".
"We estimate the Bluetooth market has more than doubled in unit terms during the year, and these results reflect CSR's position within this market and our success in driving down the cost of our Bluetooth solutions, whilst simultaneously increasing their functionality and reducing size and power consumption", commented outgoing CEO John Hodgson.
