The extensive choice of voltage configurations enables the VDE EN60950 and UL/CUL 60950 safety requirement compliant series to be matched to the latest ASIC and DSP applications requiring the reliable delivery of low operating voltages.
The range of outputs comprises: 1.0, 1.2, 1.5, 1.8, 2.2, 2.5, 3.3 and 5.0V DC.
In order to give the utmost design flexibility, power can be traded between the outputs up to the full 60W rating.
The compact quarter-brick sized WPA60 units have a wide input range of 36 to 75V and, as standard, feature input and output filtering.
In addition to remote on/off capability every model in the expanded range has an option for negative logic control.
Comprehensive built-in functionality includes undervoltage lockout, soft start capability, undercurrent and overvoltage protection, and overtemperature shutdown.
All units in the WPA60 range use a fixed frequency of 350kHz and operate with an efficiency of approximately 90%.
Minimum isolation voltage is rated at 2kV DC and maximum ripple and noise is 80mV peak to peak.
WPA60 DC/DC convertors have an operating temperature range of -40 to +100C and a MTTF rating of 1Mh.
Available now, pricing for units from the WPA60 range is under $55 in OEM quantities. Request a free brochure from Murata Power Solutions ...
