Avnet Time scoops distributor award

The Power Electronics Division of C and D Technologies has presented specialist distributor Avnet Time with its prestigious EMEA Distributor of the Year award.

The Power Electronics Division of C and D Technologies has presented specialist distributor Avnet Time with its prestigious EMEA Distributor of the Year award.

The award is in recognition of the outstanding performance of Avnet's EMC and Power division in growing European sales of C and D's AC/DC power supplies, DC/DC convertors, and power-related magnetic products.

The award, which Avnet Time won against 25 other distributors, is the highest presented by C and D Technologies in Europe.

Avnet receives the award following a period in which the company has invested heavily in new people, training and infrastructure to support the division.

This has led to sales of power supply components increasing by more than 50% over the past 12 months.

Rob Hill, Vice President EMEA/Asia Sales and Global Marketing at C and D Technologies, said: "Avnet Time has shown immense enthusiasm and motivation in supporting C and D sales growth through its EMC and power supply division.

A key factor in Avnet's success has been it s focus on demand creation and technical support, and the division is now a considerable force in the industry and a valuable resource for design engineers".
