PCB engineer wins award from Mentor
A PCB engineer from C and D's Power Electronics Division has won this year's Scott Jeffreys Award.
Mentor Graphics and 3DLabs have presented the prestigious Scott Jeffreys Award to Ed Current, a C and D Technologies PCB engineer at the company's Power Electronics Division headquarters in Tucson, Arizona The Scott Jeffreys Award is designed to recognise engineers who demonstrate a constructive, helpful and supportive attitude towards fellow members of the Mentor PCB Special Interest Group (SIG)
Specific criteria include positive and active participation in the SIG, experience with at least two Mentor Graphics PCB design tools, and the provision of valuable feedback on design issues.
The award is named in memory of Scott Jeffreys of 3DLabs in Huntsville, Alabama, for his spirit of co-operation with other PCB designers, input on tool enhancements and functionality, and contributions to building a strong online community on the Mentor PCB SIG.
