Paper focuses on power conversion
reliability

C and D Technologies' Power Electronics Division Vice-President Don Gerstle will present a paper on power conversion reliability at October's IEEE ASTR 2005 Workshop on Accelerated Stress Testing and Reliability in Austin, Texas Gerstle's paper will identify key design and manufacturing steps needed to achieve reliability in power supplies and DC/DC convertors
Topics covered during the session will range from product specification and component selection to methodologies for dealing with issues such as thermal aging and connector fretting.
The conference, which is hosted by IEEE/CPMT TC-ASTR and technically cosponsored by the IEEE Reliability Society, runs from 3rd to 5th October 2005 at the Driskill Hotel, Austin, Texas.
