Novel interface is perfect for convertor mounting
Position Perfect is a novel surface mount interface technology claimed to provide enhanced mechanical integrity and improved mounting accuracy for DC/DC convertors.
The NDTS series provides a single output while the NDTD series offers a dual output.
All devices have a wide 2:1 input voltage range and boast high efficiency.
Maximum achievable output power is 3W at 85C, and can be achieved without any external heatsinking helping to maximise performance in harsh environments.
The fully encapsulated 24-pin housing with an industry leading low-profile package height of just 7mm makes integration of these devices very simple.
NDTS and NDTD DC/DC convertors have an internal SMD construction, are RoHS compliant, and use UL94V0 approved package materials.
The product family now offers versions with input voltages of 5, 12, 24 and 48V, and output voltages of 3.3, 5, 12 and 15V.
All the devices have continuous short circuit protection, 1kV DC isolation, and utilise a flyback oscillator design with isolated feedback to give regulation over the full operating temperature range of 25 to 100%.
The NDTD and NDTD series have overall dimensions of 32.36 x 14.66 x 7mm and an operating temperature range of -40 to +85C. Request a free brochure from Murata Power Solutions ...
