Catalyst Semiconductor has appointed Spectrum UK to its sales team of Northern European independent manufacturer sales representatives.

Spectrum UK will represent Catalyst's programmable products, including Flash memories, serial and parallel EEPROMs, NVRAM, digitally programmable potentiometers (DPPs), and microcontroller supervisory circuits in the United Kingdom and Ireland.

"Spectrum UK is well known and respected in major Computer, Data Communication and Telecommunication manufacturers", said Catalyst Vice President of Northern European Sales Dave Lathan.

"As Catalyst Semiconductor expands its SPI bus-compatible EEPROM memory products and focuses on digitally programmable potentiometers, Spectrum's established presence in the area and close ties with our distribution partners, 2001 Electronics, Insight-Memec and Future, will expand our market share".

"We are very pleased to have Catalyst Semiconductor as part of our offering", said Nigel Watts, Spectrum Managing Director of Northern Europe.

"Catalyst Semiconductor's growing market share in the serial EEPROM market is testament to their emphasis on quality, delivery and customer service.

The new mixed-signal digitally programmable potentiometer products and high speed SPI memory products are expected to find wide application in our markets.

We look forward to serving existing customers and developing new business activity in the region".
