Digitally programmable potentiometers
revealed
Catalyst Semiconductor has published three new application notes that describe the benefits and application of its digitally programmable potentiometer IC products and technology.
Catalyst Semiconductor has published three new application notes that describe the benefits and application of its digitally programmable potentiometer (DPP) integrated circuit products and technology They are: AN9, "Minimising the temperature dependence of digitally programmable potentiometers"; AN8, "Everything you wanted to know about digitally programmable potentiometers; and AN7, "Programmable analogue functions"
Application note 8 (AN8) describes the advantages DPPs have over mechanical potentiometers.
Application notes 7 (AN7) and 9 (AN9) examine real-world circuit applications and show how DPP technology makes traditional analogue circuits digitally programmable.
All three can be downloaded free of charge from the Catalyst Semiconductor website.
