Concurrent Technologies has opened a business development office in Beijing to support its accelerating presence in that region.

Concurrent Technologies has opened a business development office in Beijing to support its accelerating presence in that region The office is organised in co-operation with the Chinese Britain Business Council

A Business Development Manager, Jacqueline Xie, has been appointed to work from this office.

Xie will be responsible for marketing and sales activities within China, to further develop and support the company's sales distribution channels and increase the company's profile within this highly progressive marketplace.

Xie has worked in the embedded computer industry since 1990.

She has considerable experience on the sales and marketing of products similar to those of Concurrent Technologies, having worked for other computer board vendors, and more recently one of Concurrent's Chinese distributors.

Michael Collins Chairman, commented: "Concurrent Technologies recognises the Chinese market as an excellent opportunity to increase sales revenues which have to date been serviced by our Colchester based marketing team travelling frequently to China".

"Jacqueline Xie has an excellent understanding of this marketplace and as our representative on the ground full time, will prove beneficial in terms of building client relationships within the rapidly expanding marketplace".
