Together with CDA and LEM Instruments, the new members are launching a new free CPD technical seminar entitled "Introduction to power quality, standards and solutions".

These events will provide essential background information on power quality and standards governing the distribution companies, along with practical advice on recognising and rectifying power quality problems.
"Riello Galatrek is a strong supporter of technical seminars as a way to enlighten and educate market segments about the importance of power quality and specialist technical aspects".
"We are very proud as the British subsidiary of Riello UPS Manufacturing, to be associated with the Power Quality Partnership initiative in this area", commented Robin Koffler, General Manager for Riello Galatrek.
The Power Quality Partnership is part of the Leonardo Power Quality Initiative, a European education and training programme on power quality.
The cornerstone of this initiative is the "Power quality application guide", available in hard copy or downloadable from www.lpqi.org.
The guide is a consensus of views from experts across Europe and is written for those directly involved in the design, operation and maintenance of installations and covers introductory material, troubleshooting and mitigation.
The guide has been adapted to form online e-learning modules, which can also be accessed from the website, and provides the basis for a series of free technical seminars on a host of PQ issues including earthing, availability, measurement, standards and solutions, delivered by the Power Quality Partnership.
