The "Power quality application guide" CD is a fully searchable, comprehensive reference source on measurement, management and avoidance of PQ problems in LV installations.

With sections covering: introduction, costs, harmonics, reliability, voltage disturbances and earthing and EMC, the guide can be used as an introduction to the subject, for troubleshooting, for mitigation of identified problems and to design reliable and robust installations.

The 27 individual subject-specific application notes that make up the guide have been written by experts from industry and academia from around Europe.

The guide covers technical and financial considerations and is aimed at electrical engineers, facilities managers and contractors.

All material has been reviewed by an editorial board and is approved for CPD by the Institution of Electrical Engineers.

The "Power quality application guide" has been produced as part of the Leonardo Power Quality Initiative pan-European education and training programme.

The guide forms the basis of a new Power Quality Knowledge Day event delivered by the UK Power Quality Partnership at venues around the UK.
