Serial ATA specialist takes sales role

Mark S Jackson has joined Conduant Corporation as Western Regional Sales Manager.

Mark S Jackson has joined Conduant Corporation as Western Regional Sales Manager.

In his new position Jackson assumes primary responsibility for sales of all Conduant StreamStor products in the Central and Western USA.

Jackson is a veteran of more than 16 years in the storage business having held engineering and product marketing positions with Maxtor and Exabyte, leaders in the disk drive and tape backup industries.

He was an original board member in the Serial ATA working group providing direction for the initiative.

He will work out of Conduant's headquarters.

"Mark's years of engineering and marketing experience in our industry and his leadership role in promoting its initiatives uniquely qualifies him to represent our StreamStor real-time disk recording technology", said Ken Owens, CEO of Conduant.

"Having him on our team will strengthen our position in the marketplace".

StreamStor is the first direct-to-disk solution for the PCI and CompactPCI/PXI bus excelling at error free recording and playback.

Conduant's products are deployed around the world in a wide variety of military, scientific, commercial, mobile and stationary applications.
